What qualifications or certifications do you have?
Kelly is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. All other partners with Wellness Roots hold one or more of the following certifications: NASM CPT, NSCA CSCS, ICF, CNS/LN, RDN/LDN.
How long does it typically take to see results?
We believe in creating sustainable lifestyle changes. When it comes to improving your fitness and health, we strive to set both high goals and realistic expectations. We challenge you to work hard and we also celebrate with you as you build the healthiest version of yourself. This unfortunately cannot be quantified by a length of time.
What does a typical 1:1 session look like?
Our Training, Health Coaching, and Life Coaching sessions are all different but typically include virtual check-ins, plans between sessions, and lots of encouragement from someone in your corner. Our personalized approach ensures that your uniqueness is crafted into your plan so you are challenged to be your best.
Can a personal trainer accommodate my specific health concerns or injuries?
Absolutely! The whole reason we become certified is to be able to be creative for our clients and their unique situations. You do have to be medically cleared for exercise, though.
Do you offer packages/discounts?
Yes! We started Wellness Roots for the purpose of looking at fitness and health in a holistic way. During your consultation appointment we will discuss your goals and collaborate on a package that meets all of your needs.
Do I need any equipment or a gym membership to work with a personal trainer?
Nope! Because we are both virtual and in-person capable, uniquely creative, and very driven, we can design a package that suits your goals and works with what you have available.
